The Woo Screen stands out with its unique properties. It is a three-fan screen that creates a natural and relaxing atmosphere. The screen is suspended by hemp ropes, adding a slightly hazy, dreamlike quality to its appearance. The design combines a stable form with a dynamic sense, making it a three-dimensional piece that can be enjoyed from every angle.

Constructed using 5 mm *3 mm Pinewood, the Woo Screen is both sturdy and eco-friendly. The wood is covered with Chinese lacquer from Sichuan, applied 30 times to ensure anti-corrosion and insect-proof properties. The screen measures 1800 mm in width, 1700 mm in height, and 50 mm in depth, making it a substantial yet unobtrusive addition to any room.

The design process of the Woo Screen was not without its challenges. The Magpie Team had to carefully cut the branch into three pieces and adjust them to the perfect position on the screen frame. The team also had to find a way to securely attach the branch to the frame without visible conjunctions. After extensive testing, needle-like nails were chosen to pin the branch to the frame, ensuring a secure and aesthetically pleasing result.

The Woo Screen is not just a piece of furniture; it's a work of art. It captures the beauty of a tree's growth in an elegant way, attracting attention whether it's open or closed. It offers a three-dimensional experience compared to traditional Chinese screens, which typically feature flat paintings.
